Weekend Fun!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!
I ran 10 miles on Saturday. My ankle was still sore from where my shoe rubbed it raw during my half marathon. So...I wore my Father in law's shoes!
I know I looked like I had clown feet, but since they were a little big, they didn't rub against my ankle (as bad as my shoes would've). They are definitely not long distance running shoes, so my feet were really hurting by mile 10. I had planned on 13. But, I'm very thankful at least I got 10 miles in!

This weekend a new park near me opened!! It's kind of hard to tell from the picture, but there is an area called the Egg Lawn. It's just an egg shaped path, that I can't wait to run on! This place connects 4 different parks, and it's HUGE! My honey and I can't wait to go hiking there and find all the trails!

My honey, my boy and Manny.

Last, but not least!! My family celebrated my twinnie's and my birthday!

Can you tell us apart? No one else can either! Even family member's still call us by the wrong names!!
On Saturday she will be running her FIRST 5k!! I'm so proud of her and can't wait to run with her!!

How was your weekend? What did you do?

  2. Happy Birthday!! At least your family has the excuse of calling you your twin's name. My mom calls me her sisters name all the time and we look nothing alike and are 30 years apart haha.

  4. You two do look so much alike! I can see some differences though. My sister Tabitha and I are guessed to be twins all the time........which is weird because we are about 6 inches different in height!!

    1. That's wonderful! For my short runs I usually just run in my neighborhood, but for longer runs, I need more to look at!
