It's Friday!! Today I'm the featured blogger on Fitblogger!!
Check it out!!
Yesterday I went to the Dr. about my knee and foot. My foot has still been a little sore, although no longer swollen, but with my knee, I still feel something moving in there, with every step I take!
Before I left for the Dr., I told my honey "I know this is just a waste of time, because he always says nothing is wrong!"
Well, guess what the Dr. said? Nothing is wrong!
They did X-rays on both, and nothing is broken or out of place or anything at all! I'm just fine!!
While I'm VERY happy about that, that leaves me wondering then what is wrong?? I told my honey I'm never going to the Dr. again. It never fails, every single time I go (which isn't that often anyway), they always say the same thing, "nothing is wrong". What a waste of time and money!
So, since everything is fine, I'm going for a VERY LONG RUN tomorrow! The weather is supposed to be perfect!
I also got a new car yesterday!!
When I first saw it, I couldn't decide if it was the ugliest car I've ever seen, or the cutest thing ever!
I've since decided it's pretty darn cute!!
Have a FABO weekend, my friends!

Great news from the doctor... but your still feeling something in your knee, that would still worry me if I felt it
ReplyDeleteThat does still worry me. I guess I'll just wait awhile and see if it just goes away!
DeleteGlad to hear that there is nothing structurally wrong. Hopefully it was just a case of inflammation. Good luck with your long run!
ReplyDeleteI hope that was all it was too. He did write me a prescription for anti-infammatory meds, so hopefully that'll help!
DeleteCongrats on your new car! And on "nothing being wrong"!
ReplyDeleteWhen I had stress fractures it took the docs awhile to find them and I felt so frustrated! oops, not saying you have them, just that they couldn't see what was wrong but I knew something was ;)
Thanks, girl! I agree, that is so frustrating!
Deleteglad to hear there's nothing wrong........and I love your new car! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill!
DeleteI love your new car!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's so much fun!! :)
DeleteThat is a cute car :) Congrats!
ReplyDeleteGlad they xrays say nothing is wrong but when I hurt my knees I needed MRI's....I do not want to scare you if it is nothing but it just doesn't sound like nothing.
I agree, it sure doesn't feel like 'nothing' either!! I'm just going to wait a little longer, and if it doesn't get better, I'll definitely do something more!
DeleteBe careful on your long run! I keep seeing those cars on the road...I thought they were ugly at first, but the more I see them, the cuter I think they are too! (Unlike the PT cruiser....which at first I thought was adorable, but now dread getting as my loaner if I need my car fixed!)
ReplyDeleteYea, I never have like the looks of the PT Cruiser either. But if it was just a loaner, at least you would know it's not permanent!
DeleteI have only gone to the doctor over one running issue...because I always hear that this is the story. That or SFX. I would be happy to have nothing wrong, but not PAY to hear it :)
ReplyDeleteHope your long run went well!! Congrats on the new car :)
Thanks, Raina! That's exactly how I feel, while I'm very happy about it, I hate that I had to pay to hear that!!
DeleteLove the new car! Glad your foot is better!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa! Me too!
DeleteNice to know nothing is broken, but it is so frustrating when they cannot tell you what is wrong. I always want to know so I can treat it and start getting better.
ReplyDeleteIt is very frustrating. But thankfully, it is feeling much better!
DeleteCongrats on the new car! It's super cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth!! :)
