Bootcamp and Icecream!!

Happy Friday!!
Let's start off with a confession....
This happened yesterday.
I was hoping this juice fast would've broken my addiction to icecream, but alas, it didn't!
Here's the truth; I only ate half some of it. I then called my honey from my bootcamp class and asked him to throw it away before I got home. He said he already had! OMG, he better be glad I asked him to do it, because if he threw it away, and I found out about it, it would not have been good! Ya don't mess with an addicted girls icecream!! Ahhh...he's got so much to learn. ;)

Last night I took my first boot camp class! Charity had asked me several times to go with her, and I finally said yes!
I don't know what is going on with my arm! Haha!
It was a blast! The only thing I didn't like about it, was the instructor was SO boring! I don't think she smiled one time. She would just say "ok, now we're gonna do this, now we're gonna do this..." She didn't talk to us, she didn't check our form on anything, she was no fun AT ALL.
I would love to be a fitness instructor someday. And when I am, I'm going to be fun and happy!! I will actually talk to the people in my class, and help them and make sure they're doing the moves right. I follow Stuft Mama's blog, she's also a fitness instructor. She just seems so full of life and happy, I'm sure her classes are awesome!
But other than that, it was fun and challenging. The only thing that is sore today are my legs- we did tons of squats and lunges! I will definitely be going back for more!
I love a good sweat!
Now, it's time for some lunch! Oh sushi, my love, how I have missed you!!
Have a fabulous weekend, lovelies!!

  1. I haven't bought ice cream since November, which is a record for me! Of course, I was surrounded by Christmas goodies so it's only a minor victory ;) I've never gone to a boot camp since I generally prefer working out alone, although I do enjoy classes so I guess I could give it a try!

    1. No icecream since November? You're a better woman than I am!! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't still be breathing!
I usually like working out alone, but I really enjoyed this class! (Well, other than the instructor.)

  2. A good group exercise instructor makes all the difference in a class. The best classes I've taken have been with instructors who have a lot of energy and are really enthusiastic about what they do. I haven't tried any boot camp classes yet, but I would love to check it out. My co-worker is actually trying to get me to go to boot camp with her so maybe some day soon!

    1. You should definitely try out a class. Yes, the instructor makes all the difference in the world. I'm now thinking I might not go back to this particular class- I just couldn't take that instructor anymore!

  3. I hate when instructors don't bring the energy. Thats the whole point of a group class!! I love when they "woo" and motivate. Makes all the difference!

    1. Exactly, it would've made such a difference if she had a little bit of energy! I would've enjoyed it a lot more.

  7. What is going on with your arm?! Too funny. :)
I don't think I've ever taken a boot camp class before. Other than yoga, I'm not really much of a group class girl, though.

    1. Haha, I know it!! I think it was just a spur of the moment picture, and I just tried to wrap my arm around her or something- who knows!! I didn't think I would be much of a group class girl either, so I was surprised!

  8. No boot camp but I did try Bodypump. Not sure if it is the same thing but meh.
What in the heck do you have on your sushi?!

    1. I'm not sure what Bodypump is, it might be similar. Why didn't you like it? The sushi is a California roll, it's just some kind of crispy's on the top of it. I'm sure that made it a little unhealthy, but it was SO good!

  9. I have taken a boot camp class but only a coupke of times. The guy who runs the one by our house thinks running is the only part of boot camp. I didn't think it was very balanced at sll. IHe did talk and engage sith people.

I think it's great that your going back even though the instructor is not fun. It would keep me from going back.

    1. I guess the instructor can pretty much run the class how they want to- but it is SO much more than running! That's strange! I have been thinking lately that I may not go back to her class again. I'm going to look around and see if I can find another one that would work. I don't know if I can deal with her again!

  10. I've had to throw out food before that I couldn't stop eating! Sometimes it goes down the drain or it gets covered in soap, etc. I know it's silly and I should have better control! Maybe one day I will!

    1. Oh Emily, I've done the very same thing with food too! Usually it's icecream for me. After I buy it, I start feeling guilty about eating the WHOLE thing, so I have to pour it down the sink. That's the only way to ensure that I won't dig it back out. Sick, I know!
