Training, races and runs!

Happy Friday everyone!

What a week it has been! I started my 100 mile ultra training. I love having a plan and a schedule to follow. It really helps me to stay motivated, rather than just doing it on my own with no plan! I'll be running 4 days a week, with long runs both Saturday and Sunday. This should be fun!!
Tomorrow morning I'll be doing the Biggest Loser 5k, in Lexington. Another chance to get that sub 30. Yes, I will try like heck!! And then in the afternoon I will be doing another run, but will be keeping that one a secret, as to not offend the offendable. 2 races in one day!

5 more weeks until Marathon #3! I never ever would've thought I'd be running 1 marathon, let alone 3 marathons in one year!! I'm SO excited about flying to Las Vegas and getting to hang out with Clarinda all weekend. I've never been there before, so I'm really looking forward to it!! I may just never come back...

Tonight I have about 30 people squeezing into my house to celebrate my Mom's birthday, so I better get to cleaning and cooking.

Have a fabo weekend, my friends!!

What are you doing this weekend?
Have you been to Las Vegas?

I want to run again, but am recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction. Poops :( I'm just going to be working this weekend.

  2. How fun! Good luck at both your races. I've got no real plans this weekend, other than a 20-miler, of course. :-)

  10. I've been to Vegas a few times and it's ALWAYS fun and memorable.

HAVE A BLAST! The two new/revamped buffets to hit up and try are Wicked Spoon (Cosmopolitan) and Bacchanal (Caesar's Palace) Don't be too concerned because most of their dishes are served in LITTLE servings. HOW CUTE is that!?

Have fun :) Good luck with your sub-30!

    1. Thanks for the recommendations!! That really is unusual they have small servings! I guess they think that way you eat more! Sub 30 didn't happen. :( Hopefully next time!!
