My Father in Law took me out to dinner and to see the musical Sister Act. It was excellent! I highly recommend it. I have never seen the movie before, but the musical was soooo good.
My long run on Saturday was supposed to be 21 miles. I got to mile 15 and just stopped. I kept telling myself only 6 more to go!! But I couldn't do it. No reason. My body just wanted to stop. So I listened. I know I should've kept going. I'm training for a 100 mile ultra, I can't stop after only 15!! But I did.
I was looking at my runs for the past month, and my only long run was 13 miles a couple weeks ago, since my marathon over a month ago!
I have got to keep building up these long runs! I'm wondering if I've lost some endurance, and that's why my body was done at 15...
Well, it is what it is, I'm not stopping!
Today I started my juice fast. Breakfast juice was a sweet potato, 2 apples, carrots, and a dash of cinnamon. It was so good!
My goal is to do this juice fast/cleanse for 2 weeks. No solid foods, only juice and chicken soup broth. This is my 4th year doing it, and I look forward to it every year!
