Last weekend Jeremy and I went to the Biltmore Mansion in Ashville, NC. It was absolutely beautiful!! I could totally live there.
I'm going to share a few things I ate while there, and also some of the low carb dishes I've made lately. (I've been doing low carb lately, trying to lose some weight)
In Knoxville, TN we went to Cafe 4. I got maple pecan crusted salmon, brussels sprouts and cubed sweet potatoes. I am not joking when I say this is the BEST meal I've ever had. I hate brussels, but these were amazing. Who knew??!! I've already found the recipe for the salmon and can't wait to recreate it.
In Asheville we went to a Japanese restaurant, and along with sushi, they also gave us a bowl of seaweed and squid. That was definitely a first for me. The seaweed was ok, and the squid wasn't too bad. But just knowing what it looked like alive, and I could not take more than one bite!
