Goodbye kiddos and some Arctic Zero

Last week was the closing of one chapter, next week will be the beginning of a new one.
I closed my home daycare, after 8 years. I'm gonna miss these kiddos! I've had them since they were just a couple months old, now they're 3.5 years old.
The girls are not related, but they have become best friends. It's so cute! I'm thankful they'll still be together at their new daycare. And I'm sure I'll still get to see them on occasion too.
Fuzzy pic, but this is how I found them on the last day. Precious!
One thing I will NOT miss is POOP. Dear lord have mercy, I've been changing poop diapers, underwear, even poop on walls, you name it, for EIGHT.YEARS. I've always had at least one kid in diapers or potty training or something.
Yea, that's too long. I've had my fill.

Friday I got an awesome package in the mail.  Arctic Zero sent me some of their frozen desserts. I've been wanting to try them forever. But if I was going to spend $5 on a pint of ice cream, I wanted a Ben & Jerry's, some 'real' ice cream!

I really like them! Especially since it's only 150 calories in the whole pint. I wouldn't say it tastes like ice cream, it's more like a frozen protein shake. I have now tried each of these flavors and I would say my fave is the Vanilla Maple. And I am SO not a vanilla girl. But it's amazing.
I know Walmart, Target and other stores sell them, but if you can't find a certain flavor, you can even buy them online.
Word to the wise... do not touch the enclosed dry ice. Not that I would ever actually touch it with my bare hands and burn my fingers and scream like a banshee, but someone out there might.

And now for something random... somehow, for some reason, I am just now discovering Secondhand Serenade.
I don't even remember how I found them, but now that I have, I can't stop listening to them. They are constantly playing on my Spotify. Love!!

Have you tried Arctic Zero?
What did you do this weekend?

  1. Loving that ice cream that is only 150 calories a pint, that seriously works with my current daily diet calorie intake I do, Hmmmmmm I see a visit to a store coming my way:)

That is exciting your moving onto a new chapter and I am really glad for your sake that you won't have to clean up poop anymore!

  2. YUCK YUCK! I tried Arctic Zero...every flavor...and found it to be slimey and quite gross. Not a fan at all. Try Halo Top. Or...stick to the real thing. Everything in moderation.

    1. Lol! I've heard a lot of people say the same thing. I'm going to look for Halo Top, I've heard that's a good alternative. Nothing beats the real thing!

  3. I have read not very nice reviews about Arctic Zero..I guess I am going to stay away from it...and stick to moderation with the real thing if I ever crave icecream :)

    1. I read the same bad reviews, that's one reason why I never bought it. But I like it! Of course I'd much rather have the real thing though!
