Spinning again!

I am slowly but surely adjusting to life back in KY.
We got TONS of snow over the weekend. It made me sick. That's how much I hate snow. :) I would post a pic of the 18" we got, but I don't really want to see it again.

How about seeing my sweet nephew instead? I hadn't seen him since he was a week old, I missed him like crazy.

He was telling me I'm his favorite Aunt. Then I found out he tells all my sisters that. He's a ladies man already.
I am in love with that baby! I could not take my eyes or lips off him. I had to make up for missed time.

I have to share this hilarious pic. Milk drunk!

Yesterday I signed up for some more spin classes, and took the first one in the morning. It's probably been 6 months since I've done spin. It was just as amazing as I had remembered. There is nothing better than working out so hard you feel like you just might die.
After that I went on a little run. First run outside in awhile!

6 more weeks until my marathon. I can't believe this will be the first one I've done in a year!
Next Saturday's long run will be 18 miles. It's been a year since that has happened too. Yippee!

Linking up today for Tuesday's on the Run with Erica, Patty and April.
Thursday I'll be running a contest for a free entry to the Color Run, so make sure you come back then!

What's your next race?
Any other spin class fans?

  1. I love spin. I wish I was better about finding time to do it... I have to run 18 miles on Friday. It's been years since I've done that LOL.

  2. I did spin before I started long distance running. I'd like to go back to it, but the classes are either weekend mornings when I'm training, or too late in the day during the week.

  3. Oh I love spin! I haven't been to a class in a couple years but sometimes I do spin workouts when I'm riding my bike on my indoor trainer. Not exactly the same thing, but it passes the time so much faster!

  10. Katie, the "milk drunk" picture is HILARIOUS! I've recently returned to spin classes after a looooong time and I really enjoy them, as well! Way to go on your run, too; it's so nice to be able to get outside, finally, right? Sheesh. I hope this winter mess is over. Hope you're having a great day!

  11. I've never tried spin- the seats look so uncomfortable. Yes, I want to be comfortable when I work out. HA! Great post and super cute baby!

    1. Haha! Ok, the seats do KILL your butt the first few times, but then you get used to it and it doesn't bother me at all. Every friend I've brought with me to spin only goes once, for that very reason! Thanks Patty!

Spinning is something I have never tried, but so many people love it. If I ever become a Gym girl again I should for sure give it a try!
