Three Things Thursday
Thing One:
My goal for March was to run 100 miles. Unfortunately I didn't make it. I was 23 miles short.
Thing Two:
I signed up for the KY Derby mini marathon. I've never ran this race before, and it's only 30 minutes from me, so I'm really excited about it. It's April 25, which is a week after my Carmel Marathon. That should be fun! I'll either be doing a marathon one weekend, and a half the next, or two half's in two weekends. I haven't quite decided yet how it's going to go down...
Spending the day with this little doll made my day!

The Derby is fun. I'm doing the Backside Trail Half the day after as part of my full transition from the road but I'll be out there somewhere cheering probably. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteSo fun, love it when lots of race plans are on the horizon! I mentioned a few months back I may be at Carmel, but unfortunately I have had too many setbacks so I am not going to make it:( But next year is looking much more promising!

That sounds like it'll be a fun event, Katie! Woo hoo! I love races, so I'm always up for whatever is next. This little friend of yours is adorable; so glad you were able to hang out with her. I would think you'd become pretty attached to those little nuggets, after having them around you all the time for so long. Hope you're having a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love races too! There's just somethin' about 'em!! Yea, I definitely got attached to a lot of them. Thankfully, most of them live in my town, so I still see them now and then!
