5 things from my week

Although I have had a one track mind all week, life has been going on as usual. So, here's a few things from my week!

1.This little girl that I nanny for is the funniest 4 year old I know. Seriously, she's like a little adult. The other day after I picked her up from preschool and was driving back to her house, someone in front of me was driving at least 10 miles under the speed limit. So, I yelled at them. (I believe I said "come on dude, what are you doing??")
She says "Calm down, Miss Katie, don't get frustrated. It's gonna be okay. Take a deep breath and count to 10..." She then proceeds to sing me a song she learned on Daniel Tiger (kids cartoon) about breathing deep and counting to 10.
She has me laughing every single day.
 2. I got to spend a day with my friend Clarinda. She flew into Columbus, from Las Vegas for work, and since it was only 3 hours from me, there was no way I couldn't see her.
We found a park we wanted to explore, and when we found out they were doing a 4 mile Graveyard Hike (ended up being only 2.5 miles), we knew that was what we wanted to do. Before the hike, we went to Ohio State University and walked around the grounds, took lots of pictures, drank a Buckeye mocha, which was delicious on that cold day. We had so much fun, and I definitely think I need to make another trip to Vegas to see her again soon!
3. Annnnd I have another child driving. Pretty sure it was just a week ago my oldest stepson started driving and I went through all of this. It's happening again!!
4. I finally, after all these years, started watching The Walking Dead. I think I knew I would probably get addicted to it, so I needed to wait until the time was right for another addiction, and this was the time. OH MY GOSH. I don't know what took me so long. The addiction is real.
 5. You guys won't have to listen to me talk about my marathon anymore! (After my recap, of course) Aren't you happy about that? Tomorrow is the day. Tammy and I will leave this afternoon for Indy, I'll try my best to sleep, and then wake up tomorrow and run 26.2 miles. I can't wait!!
Pretty excited to finally run a flat race!
What show are you addicted to right now?

Who else is running or racing this weekend?
